Somatic Movement

With gentle, mindful movement, you awaken your body, release tension, and naturally reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence.

Your body carries stories—of stress, strain, and quiet forgetting. Somatic Movement helps you listen, feel, and remember the ease and freedom you long for.

Through gentle, mindful movement, you reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence. Muscles soften, energy begins to flow, and tension dissolves—not through force, but through awareness, presence, and conscious motion.

Stress and tension reveal themselves through three full-body reflexes; green light, red light and physical trauma reflex. By tuning into these patterns, we can address the true source of discomfort—because where pain appears is often not where it begins.

Like a deep stretch, a yawn, or a soft awakening, your body remembers how to move with grace, fluidity, and joy. Here, you reclaim strength, freedom, and vitality—one mindful movement at a time.

Experiencing Somatic Movement

In a session you will be guided through slow, intentional movements that bring awareness to the areas holding tension.

The more aware you are of your body, the less likely you are to become injured by pushing yourself too hard through exercise, yard work, etc. But, if you do happen to over do it, you will have the Somatic movement practices to help you reset your muscles.

Somatics can effectively relieve:

  • neck, shoulder, and back pain

  • sciatic pain

  • tendonitis

  • headaches due to chronic muscle tension

  • hip, knee, and foot pain

  • repetitive use injuries

  • poor posture

  • frozen shoulder syndrome

Somatic Movement is a journey back to your body’s wisdom,
a quiet awakening of freedom, flow, and ease.

What Clients Are Saying

I was genuinely impressed after my first Somatics session with Lisa. As Lisa was guiding me through the Somatic movements, I experienced a paradigm shift in how I feel and cope with my countless aches and pains in my much traumatized body. You certainly don't have to be an equestrian to benefit from Lisa's knowledge and abilities. If you want to have a healthier, pain-free body, I highly recommend Lisa and Somatics!

Chris Irwin | Irwin Insights

"When I reached out to Lisa I was suffering from excruciating back pain as well as dangerously high blood pressure. I was reacting to medications and felt worse than I ever have. I was feeling overwhelmed and scared.

I did two online sessions and was shocked at how quickly I could feel my body improving and how it was accepting the medication I currently need.

Now I have zero back pain, my blood pressure is normal for the first time in over four years and I am on a minimal dose of blood pressure meds. I feel healthier and stronger than I have in years. Even my habits have changed for the better!

The best part is that I feel like, together, Lisa and I have a solid plan to keep my body/mindset healthy! For the first time in years I feel hopeful, confident and excited about my health! Lisa is kind, knowledgeable, professional and willing to share so much information to aid you in your healing journey. I highly recommend you reach out to Lisa!! It WILL change your life!"
